‘Myth & Memory’ Exhibition – Artist Talk with Julie Murphy – 17 Jan

This is a FREE event but booking is essential as places are limited.

What do myths, stories, neuroscience and drawing have in common? The answer is that they all explore the human narrative of memory in various ways. In this varied exhibition Julie Murphy imagines a world where everything consists of lines that interconnect human experience and the search for healing. As an art therapist she has witnessed the power of art to transform lives and process memories. She respects both ancient healing myths and ritual as well as new discoveries in neuroscience and this is reflected in this collection of etchings, drawings and sculpture.

Julie will present an artist’s talk about her work at 11 am on Monday 17 January 2022 in Strule Gallery.
