Based on fleeting observations seen from the window of her studio, the paintings depict not only the figures passing by, but also reflect the constantly changing light, the weather and the seasons.

Cara is an award winning artist and has exhibited widely throughout Northern Ireland and has work in many private and public collections. She is a member of the Royal Ulster Academy of Art and won the 2021 RUA Perpetual Gold Medal. Cara was born in Belfast and studied fine art at Newcastle University. She lived in Spain for twenty years before returning to Belfast in 2010. You can also buy art from this exhibition through the Own Art scheme which gives you an interest-free loan over 10 months (and you still get to take the art home immediately the exhibition ends). The exhibition runs at the ArtisAnn Gallery at 70 Bloomfield Avenue, Belfast from Wed 6th to Sat 30th April All Welcome Admission is free. All artworks are available to buy.
