Debutots is an interactive storytelling and dramatic play franchise for children aged 6 months – 7 years, enriching children’s early language and literacy experiences.
We are looking for outstanding part-time Storytelling / Drama Practitioners to join our lovely, talented team. Jobs are available in both areas.
- Debutots North Down and Ards
- Debutots Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Lisburn and Castlereagh
Debutots work with schools, nurseries, pre-schools and in local venues across the two areas.

Debutots is looking for reliable, honest, articulate and professional individuals to join the team on a part-time basis. Starting small with just a few classes a week and building up as required.
Essential: Previous experience working with children under 8 yrs old.
Desirable: Experience of teaching drama to young children.
Desirable: Experience of running After School Clubs.
Desirable: A drama or teaching qualification.
The position will require you to run:
- Debutots After-School Clubs for Primary School children (2-3pm and 3-4pm)
- Sessions in Day Care, Nursery and Primary School settings (in the mornings)
- Parent and Child Sessions (mornings or afternoons)
- Holiday Clubs (with other practitioners)
- Birthday Parties
- Wedding entertainment
Full training, ongoing support, original stories and session plans plus equipment will be provided.
Access to a car is desirable.
An Access NI disclosure for Child Protection will be conducted.
