Source Publication Opportunity Days – 17 and 18 June

Source Magazine Meetings with Photographers to see new work for publication:

Publication Opportunity Day, Belfast:

Source Office, Belfast: Saturday 18 June 2022.
Initial submission deadline: Wednesday 1 June 2022.

Publication Opportunity Day, Dublin:

The National Centre for Contemporary Photography, Dublin: Saturday 2 July 2022.
Initial submission deadline: Friday 17 June 2022.

(Note: There is no submission fee to take part in these events which we have been running since 1997)

As part of our research for future issues, Source will be organising meetings with photographers to find out about their new photographic work. The meetings are an opportunity to directly introduce a new piece of work to one of our editors.

This is one way Source finds new work for publication in the ‘portfolio pages’ section of Source Magazine. It is also an opportunity to get feedback on work in progress. And for all who submit it is an opportunity to introduce us to your work.

If you are interested in attending you should email a PDF with up to 8 images and contained within it up to three paragraphs of text that give a background to your new work along with your name, contact phone number and web address. Files must be no more than 25 Meg.

Email Submissions to: john@source.ie and specify which venue you would like to attend.

Venue: Source Office, Bridge Street, Belfast (18 June 2022) and The National Centre for Contemporary Photography, Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 (2 July 2022)
Dates: Belfast Publication Opportunity Day: 18 June 2022 and Dublin Publication Opportunity Day: 2 July 2022
