Big Telly Theatre Company – Apply for a residency at Brick Moon – first residency closing 14 Aug

Brick Moon is a 24 hour digital venue that follows the sun.

A virtual arts venue which hosts and celebrates connection and interaction between live artists, facilitators and community groups.

Audiences can drop in and browse and also book ahead for specific events/workshops. It will house exciting digital programmes such as ‘live audio experiences’ and ‘interactive fiction’ as well as being a space for makers, writers and artists, who wish to focus on process rather than product.

A first of its kind platform, this space introduces a level of accessibility unmatched by any physical venue.

We want you to join us in realising the potential of this space by becoming live animators of it.

We are inviting artists and creators to connect with us and use it as a means of sharing process, exploring ideas, testing new ground, pushing boundaries, building networks, collaborating on a local or global level, and for marketing and selling their work.
We are also in the process of developing large scale digital projects within the space and are actively seeking artists and makers to collaborate with us on these.

There is no set way of using Brick Moon. We wish to create a place where conversations can be brokered between artists and audiences and the ways in which audiences can contribute to the work are experimented with. You have the option to engage the audience by inviting their interaction or simply asking them to observe or feedback. Audiences can drop in and browse freely or pre book specific events. We will work closely with each artist to ensure the space offers the best playground for them to work in.

Currently, there is no charge to artists who wish to work in this space but there will be future opportunities for work to be commissioned.
