Housed in Northern Ireland’s oldest cinema building, the Strand Arts Centre in east Belfast is no longer just “the pictures”. The venue now also hosts live theatre and music, performing arts classes, arts and crafts workshops, and is hired by almost 100 charities and community groups annually.
Major refurbishment of the building is required however for the organisation to deliver on its vision of an inclusive and inspiring arts venue where heritage, creativity and community come together.
Strand Arts Centre is looking for a new Chair and board members to help guide the charity through a busy but exciting period of change.
