Understanding HMRC Self Assessment and Tax Return – 25 Nov

Being self employed can be challenging, especially in the current climate. Tackling your year end self assessment and understanding what you need to keep is just one area of the self employed world. This training aims to give the participant an overview and better understanding of the following areas;

  • Understanding and planning for Self-Assessment – template excel spreadsheet
  • Completing a self-assessment online
  • Records to keep
  • Expenses (allowable and disallowable)
  • Limited v Sole Trader, what is the difference?
  • Working from home
  • When to hire a bookkeeper

The training will be delivered by Tony Clarke. Tony is a fellow of the certified public accountant association. With over 18 years experience and working with over 500 self employed individuals, he has a detailed knowledge of what is required by HMRC for the self employed and small companies.
