Valerie Giannandrea McKeag’s paintings explore the transient effects of light and weather on the landscape and the passing of seasons.
The bold paintings within this collection show the wild and varied landscapes of Northern Ireland, captured with dynamic colours and brushstrokes.
Relocating from Belfast to the mountains of Mourne in 2016, Valerie Giannandrea McKeag has dedicated her time painting this area of natural beauty. With a studio looking out to views of Slieve Meelmore and Spellack Cliffs, her recent focus has been on capturing the ever-changing patterns of light and weather on this mountainscape.
Her work is held in the permanent collection of the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
All artworks are available to buy.
You can also buy art from this exhibition through the Own Art scheme which gives you an interest-free loan over 10 months (and you still get to take the art home immediately the exhibition ends).
