Audience development agency, Thrive, has been working with the visual arts sector in Northern Ireland for over 10 years to help them collect data on their audiences. In 2020, with support from the Arts Council, Future Screens NI and the Belfast Visual Arts Forum, Thrive partnered with The Audience Agency and g39 to deliver a new pilot programme, ‘iBeholder’, that would test the role of technology in audience data collection. Four galleries participated: Golden Thread Gallery, The Naughton Gallery, Belfast Exposed, Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) Derry~Londonderry
