“Padraig Potts” is about growing up in Rural Ireland in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s. A young man loses out on love and settles for the mundane. Bursting with the vivacious wit that is the trademark of Seamus O’Rourke’s masterful play-writing, this show will tear at your heart and cripple you with laughter. Both playwright and actor, bring to life every exquisitely crafted and painfully familiar character to influence the journey of our antihero Padraig Potts.
This is the tale of a generation lost between the old world ruled by religion and the new world ruled by hearts. But there’s hope and a chance to claw back the past.
