The Together: Building a United Community (T:BUC) Strategy, launched in 2013, reflects the Executive’s commitment to building a united society. Since then, significant progress has been made – a number of the headline actions set out in the Strategy have been fully achieved, with significant progress made across others.
However, it is recognised that there is more to do and there is a need to ensure that the T:BUC Strategy continues to reflect the current needs of our society and work for all in the community.
This Engagement Forum will provide us with the opportunity to look forward. Considering such themes as People centred approach, Partnerships & Collaboration, Creativity, Flexibility, Agility – based on evidence and insight, Delivery methodology and Unifying themes for example Environment & Climate, Employment & Employability, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Young People.
The Executive Office would like to engage with stakeholders and are keen to ensure that all interested parties have an opportunity to explore this forward-looking approach. The Engagement Forum will involve input from senior officials from TEO and Peace Plus, outlining the current position of T:BUC and emerging themes, followed by a series of small group discussions across a range of questions.
