ABHAILE | HOMING is a solo show of art photography by VAI member Lane Shipsey, taking place in an arts centre in a converted church on the Falls Road in Belfast. An Culturlánn was set up during the Troubles as a place for local people to engage with Irish culture. Tá comhrá as Gaeilge ar fáil ann gach lá, agus bia álainn. The Ballaí Bána gallery upstairs at Culturlánn is a perfect place in which to view these art photo-collages which explore some of the ways we cope with shifting personal and community senses of identity over time. Exhibition continues 1 June – 27 July 2023.
