Saturday 7 October
It’s World Space Week (4-10 October) and we have lift off! Learn how to make your own rocket with Scientific Sue as she brings to life the science and engineering behind rockets – Newton’s Laws of Motion have never been so much fun. We’ll use water and fizzing tablets to produce carbon dioxide. The rate of production of the gas is the key to how long it will take for the rocket to take off. Along with their own rocket, each child will take home ‘fuel’ tablets and an instruction sheet so that they can repeat the activity at home for family and friends.
