Belfast Philharmonic Youth Chamber Choir – audition places available

Belfast Philharmonic Youth Choirs still have some audition places for new singers to form a 24-voice Chamber Choir. You should be aged 15-20 of any gender or voice type, excited about developing singing technique and musicianship through exceptional choral musical education. You will learn a huge range of fantastic new and classical choral music to perform in concerts and events through the season.

Led by Artistic Director Dr Lynsey Callaghan, previous Chamber Choir groups have sung alongside professional musicians like Northern Ireland Opera, the Ulster Orchestra and the BBC Singers. They have premiered new Irish choral music and worked alongside contemporary composers, as well as travelling to perform in competitions and showcases.

For the 2023/24 season we are seeking keen singers who would like to find out what their voice is capable of, and be part of an outstanding group of young singers ready to perform across Belfast and Ireland.
