There are still some places available in all age groups to join Phil Kids for the 23/24 year! Phil Kids Choir is a music education programme that encourages children to reach their best musical ability, to learn to read music, and to develop and train the voice. Each Tuesday they have a group choir session, alongside smaller music classes where they learn through fun singing games.
They also get the opportunity to perform in concerts through the year with our older choirs and sometimes with professional musicians. In 2022/23 Phil Kids performed with the Ulster Orchestra in their Halloween concerts in the Waterfront Hall, and were part of the Cross Border Youth Choir who sang at the Belfast Children’s Festival! Phil Kids learn different types of choral music and as they grow in age and singing ability will progress to our Wednesday Youth and Chamber Choirs where they will be able to take part in even more exciting activity.
No auditions are required to join Phil Kids.
