Fermanagh and Omagh District Council have opened a second call for sponsorship applications for groups or organisations to get involved in Culture Night or European Heritage Open Day in September 2024.
Culture Night is a UK and Ireland-wide initiative celebrating arts, culture, and creativity. It offers an opportunity for local artists, organisations, and communities to open their doors to the public and showcase their activities and facilities within the district.
European Heritage Open Day 2024 presents an exciting opportunity for heritage enthusiasts of all kinds and provides a unique platform to showcase the rich heritage of the Fermanagh and Omagh district area. This includes local heritage groups and organisations dedicated to conservation and communities, who are eager to spotlight their cultural offering.
Expressing support for the events, Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Thomas O’ Reilly, said,
“The Council is committed to providing the best quality experience for everyone who lives and visits our district. Events are a welcome boost to the region and the local economy as they provide opportunities to showcase our district, talents, culture and heritage. These events enrich our community’s cultural landscape and I encourage groups and organisations to apply.”
- Applications must be submitted before: 5pm, on Thursday, 30 May 2024.
