Echo Echo Dance & PETEC (Romania) present an international co-production – a calm, intimate, beautiful, warm-hearted and layered dance piece that goes back to the roots of dancing in the poetic sensibility in movement that we all share.
What if we were to look at dance as closer to poetry rather than to visual arts or theatre?
Each movement – an opening of a world, a language with its own meanings?
Each pause – a careful anticipation, a space charged with significance?
Each performance – a complete work, equal unto itself, without the need to justify itself through the mediation of other arts?
What if dancers and choreographers were to work free from the influence of music and textual narratives, armed with the confidence that their artistic language is sufficient unto itself, accessible to the audience?
