Art Centre Facilities Assistant via 50 plus JobStart Scheme Void Art Centre are hiring for a new and exciting role to add to their small team. The Art Centre Facilities Assistant role is provided via 50 plus JobStart Scheme and reports to the Coordinator of Production & Dynamics.
They will be our front of house and invigilator for the art centre as well as assisting with the day to day running of the art centre facilities. Whilst carrying out their duties to welcome our visitors and provide them with information about the artist and exhibitions, they will also ensure there is a well maintained and friendly environment for staff and visitors.
The post holder will be required to assist with general email inquiries, setting up for meetings and workshops. They will do checks of the artworks and facilities
throughout the day.
The role requires that the post holder has a flexible approach, is comfortable speaking with members of the public and confident carrying out key holder duties. Void Art Centre is open Tuesday- Saturday 11am- 5pm. The post holder will be required to work 25 hours per week with an average of one Saturday per month.
