Learn how to make a hand-stitched and punched leather satchel, using vegetable tanned leather, cut and dyed by hand.
You will be guided at all stages, including being shown how to use leather punches to create stitching holes; how to saddle stitch using waxed thread; how to add straps for the perfect fit and how to seal the leather, make it waterproof and give it a beautiful and refined finish.
All materials are included, just wear old clothing or bring an apron to cover up as we will be using leather dyes/pigments.
