This fun, creative course provides step by step guidance in the popular art of mosaic. Learn how to work with mosaic tiles, glass and ceramic shapes, as well as how to apply shells, stones and other mediums to create interesting and individual designs. You can choose to decorate a bird box or a tray which is provided, or you may bring a small wooden item of your own (such as an unvarnished plant stand or bedside table – no larger than 30-50cm), if preferred.
You will learn how to use basic tools for mosaics and how to apply adhesive and grout, and there will be plenty of design inspiration for you to create a unique piece. This course is ideal for beginners as well as experienced crafters.
