Will the Programme for Government enable everyday creativity in Northern Ireland? – Online – 9 Oct

As part of the Northern Ireland Executives’ consultation on their Programme for Government 2024-2027, ‘Our Plan: Doing What Matters Most’, Creative Lives is hosting an important session to explore the implications for local creative groups. The Programme highlights key priorities across People, Planet, and Prosperity.

During this session, civil servants will present the programme’s main goals, followed by a facilitated conversation on what these plans mean for hyper-local creative groups.

There will also be a discussion about how local communities can get involved in the consultation process to ensure their voices are heard. Attendees will have an opportunity to share their perspectives on how policies can better support cultural participation and creative activities at community level.

Creative Lives is committed to advocating for stronger policy connections that ensure everyday creativity can flourish. We will use the insights gathered during this session to contribute to the consultation, focused on culture and creativity.

Input will be vital, so join the discussion and make your voice heard so that together the the priority issues that matter most to you and future generations can be established.
