Unite to End Violence against women and girls – through to 10 Dec

In the face of the alarming global epidemic of violence against women and girls, Indian South African and Belfast based artivist, Juanita Rea, is taking action to help people unite to end violence aganist women and girls through a series of international events in Dubai, Belfast and Kuala Lumpur during the 16 Days of Activism.

From November 21st – 24th, alongside youth presentations and performances at the Be The Change Summit in Dubai, she played her debut single “Unashamed” to an appreciative adult audience from 40 countries and also performed “You Gotta Get Up” another song from her upcoming album.

November 27th marks the second show of ‘The Vagina in The Room’ at the Sonic Lab.

On November 30th, she will perform her second single, ‘My Body, All Mine’ at the Reclaim The Agenda walk in Belfast.

She has been invited to the Hearth Summit in Kuala Lumpur (https://wellbeing-project.org/hearth-summit-malaysia-2024 )  where she is delivering an Art For Change workshop, is releasing her third single, ‘Never’ on December 7th and is aiming to hold the SE Asian premiere of ‘The Vagina In The Room.’
