Developing Media Literacy for Well- being, Relationships and Democracy – for Schools – 6 Feb 2025

Facing History and Ourselves United Kingdom have partnered with Corrymeela to provide a one-day workshop on Developing Media Literacy Skills for Well-being, Democracy and Relationships.

During the day we will examine how various media sources can shape narratives, impact individual well-being and influence wider society. We will provide classroom-ready lessons designed to build students’ capacity to responsibly engage with the media around them. The workshop will take activities from our 10-lesson unit, and will be of particular interest to educators in Citizenship, History, English and Media Studies departments.
