John McMacken lived in Limavady for 25 years before moving to Belfast where he studied Fine Art at Ulster University. John presents a body of work comprising oil paintings, charcoal and pen drawings – energetic and colourful lyrical abstracts which explore the artist’s creativity and imagination. John has exhibited at galleries throughout the island of Ireland.
