Hearth Historic Buildings Trust – Committee Vacancy: Honorary Treasurer

Hearth is seeking a Treasurer to join their volunteer committee.

It has never been a more exciting time to become a committee member for Hearth Historic Buildings Trust as we venture towards the regeneration of Riddel’s Warehouse in the heart of Belfast.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role with your fellow Trustees and supporting the staff team to ensure the successful delivery of the charity’s mission, all within an informed, friendly, and professional environment.

The Committee aims to meet every six weeks for a 1 hour- 1.5 hour meeting.

Honorary Treasurer duties include:

  • Monitor the bank accounts for the charity and authorise payments.
  • Produce a brief financial report for each meeting.
  • Complete our quarterly VAT returns and
  • Keep our accounting records up to date.

Candidates should have knowledge in:

  • Accounting
  • Financial Management
  • VAT Returns
  • Fundraising
