Job Description

  • Looking for a flexible schedule that includes hosting paint/sculpt parties once a week with the occasional extra event?
  • A social butterfly who loves talking about all things art and helping people with painting techniques?
  • Although this position is casual it does require someone reliable and used to a high level of responsibility.
  • You will be the face of the company and the organisation expects a high level of execution and drive. Most of our classes are held in the evenings and the occasional weekend.
  • Applicants for this position should have UK residency or a valid UK work visa. Driving is not required but preferable.

Lead Artist role to be invoiced at £20/hour
Assistant Artist role to be invoiced at £15/hour
Job Contracted hours: 4 – 24/hours a month

Working hours will typically be weekday evenings and weekends.

Job Requirements

  • A passion for painting and/or Sculpting and experience working with groups.
  • You will lead art sessions independently, meaning you will be required to take initiative, be organised and prepared.
  • You will need enough storage space in your home to store the materials for your events (Paintvine will provide the materials).
  • You’ll ideally have your full driver’s licence and a car, this will make getting to and from events easier, but this is not a necessity.
  • You will need to have clear communication skills, be confident leading sessions and entertaining guests.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will have knowledge of painting/sculpting techniques.
  • You’ll be setting up, leading and hosting Paintvine experiences of around 20 – 25 participants.
  • You will ensure all of your guests have everything they need for their experience.
  • You will lead the session, teaching process and enable guests to create their own personal masterpiece.
  • You will ensure that guests experience a night full of entertainment and fun in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
  • You will be responsible for storing the supplies needed for your event and communicating with the relevant team when you need more supplies.
  • You’ll become a part of our Paintvine Community, and receive ongoing support.
