This special event marked the opening of two exhibitions by the Ulster Society of Women’s Artists and The Arty Mondays, bringing together an array of artistic expressions, including painting, and mixed media. The celebration honoured the creativity and diversity of female artists, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with the artists, learn about their inspirations, and appreciate the contributions of women in the arts.

“This showcase is a testament to the rich artistic talent of women in Northern Ireland,” said Susan O’Connor, Business Development Officer. “The aim of this exhibition was to not only celebrate the artists’ work but also encourage conversations around gender equality in the arts.”

The event was officially opened by Councillor Julie Flaherty, with support from Creative Advisor Noelle McAlinden. It was well attended, and both exhibitions will remain open to the public until Friday, 9th May 2025. Opening hours for this exhibition are Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm and open on select Saturdays.
