Your 6 Week Guide to Submitting to Literary Journals is designed for writers of many levels, from beginner to experienced. It is also open to writers of any form, such as short story, poetry, flash fiction, and creative non-fiction. Across the course students will become familiar with literary journals, how they run, and the often confusing terms that come along with submission. Students will also gain valuable insight on how to edit their own and others work, and throughout the course students will also be working on a piece for submission and will receive feedback from both their peers and the facilitator. Students will also gain insight into the world of rejection that is writing and how we as writers can learn to cope with disappointing news.
