‘Into the Now’ is a powerful short film created by the Dots & Commas Writing Group in Strabane as part of Arts Care’s Here and Now Festival 2024/25.
Led by Arts Care artists Michelle Young and Tomas Nicholl, the project ran from October 2024 to January 2025, bringing together participants from Hillside Day Centre and past Here and Now programmes in the warm and welcoming Alley Theatre.
Into the Now featured at the Here and Now Festival launch, where the Dots & Commas group joined a wonderful lineup of other service users from across Northern Ireland.
The launch celebrated the creativity of over 284 participants involved in 22 community-based projects, along with over 2,000 people who took part in regional Zoom workshops.
