Community Arts Partnership assisted with the launch of the children’s art competition which took place this month at the Parliament Buildings, with Conor Shields, Director of CAP, Clare McComish, Project Co-ordinator of CAP’s Landmarks project and William Hay, MLA, Speaker of the Assembly, along with pupils from Currie Primary School in Belfast and members of the Assembly’s Education Service.
Community Arts Partnership is delighted to be involved with the NI Assembly Education Service Art Competition for Key Stage 2 pupils. Two of our artists will be on hand on 30th of March to create a collaborative work of art with the winners which will be displayed in the Great Hall in Parliament Buildings.
The Pupils can choose between two themes – ‘Remembering the Titanic’ or ‘My World’ where they can draw on inspiration that reflects their school, family and friends, local community or even a favourite hobby. The closing date for the competition is 9 March.
Full details on how to enter and further information can be obtained from the NI Assembly Education service website.
