Community Arts Partnership’s board of Directors are;
Joe McVey – Director/Chair
Business Consultant of Blueprint Development Consultants; Joe left the public sector to establish a business consultancy that maintains strong connections with the voluntary and community sector.
Karen McFarlane – Vice-chairperson
Karen is Manager of Partisan Productions and Co-ordinator of Theatre Lab, a partnership between Partisan Productions and Ballynafeigh Community Development Association. Karen has extensive experience in community development and community relations.
Trish O’Kane – Treasurer
Trish is Programme Manager at Ballynafeigh Community Centre and has a long career in community development.
Eileen Branagh – Director
Chief Executive of Open Arts, Eileen has extensive experience in the arts sector. Formerly Project Manager of the Beat, and Manager in the Special Olympics, she also worked in numerous arts festivals.
Darren Ferguson – Director
A founder and manager of Beyond Skin and developer of Homely Planet radio, World Music NI. Current Chair of the CADA development education sub-group. Previously set up Romanian charity ‘Equilibrium’ and fundraiser/campaigner for Concern Worldwide.
Sean McCann – Director
A solicitor at McCann & McCann, Sean has been a practicing solicitor for many years in Belfast and has a passion for traditional folk arts, particularly music.
Katrina Newell – Director
Director of New Lodge Arts, Katrina has a wealth of experience as a practitioner, and running a community arts development organisation.
Lesley Wilson – Director
Director of Arts For All, Lesley previously worked as a designer, arts facilitator and an arts manager. Set up fashion label Lesley Q. Was Officer for Creative Youth Partnerships and worked closely with DENI on training and curriculums.
Martin Lynch – Associate Director
Director of Mac Productions, a founding member of New Belfast Community Arts Initiative and celebrated local playwright, Martin is a champion and advocate of community arts especially in the dramatic arts.
