City (Re)Searches is Backin’ Belfast – 23rd Feb 2013

City (Re)Searches is bringing together a range of highly regarded, experienced and indeed award-winning artists and activists, from the Netherlands, USA, Brazil, Lithuania, Germany and Ireland to meet in Belfast and look again at what makes culture important and valued.

Pop! Culture pop-up

We’re opening up the Pop! Culture pop-up to the public. Come along, get creative. There’ll be a range of visual arts activities and poetry workshops taking place. It’s free of charge and all we ask that you help us think about the value of culture and creativity. There’ll be a drum circle between 12.30 and 2 pm with plenty of opportunity to get involved. We’ll have the City (Re)searches team on-hand along with a range of CAP artist-facilitators and co-ordinators. Come on down and be a part of a unique creative research programme. Just look out for the big, inflatable Pop! Culture pop-op space in front of St Anne’s Cathedral on Writers’ Square.

The Pop! Culture space is going to travel on to other European cities, offering communities, artists and the public the chance to explore culture and creativity.
