Glenbank Nursery, Ligoniel, Belfast worked with visual artist, Lucy Turner on this fantastic Landmark’s project.
Glenbank is celebrating its 60th year and the mosaic idea was developed as a way of celebrating the talents of its very young students!
The ‘Butterfly Ball’ mosaic took inspiration from the children’s initial drawings of butterflies and nature. The children, staff and parents all helped out and got stuck in over the workshop sessions. Everyone involved was chuffed to bits with the finished artwork that now hangs pride of place at the entrance of the nursery.
