Lagan Village Youth and Community Group
The centre, in Belfast, seeks to enhance greater participation and interaction for people from the local community to allow for better community relations and personal development. They do this through offering a wide variety of activities.
Karen Kinghan is currently facilitating a series of film-making workshops with nine ten year olds who are an energy filled bunch and eager to get in front and behind of the camera. They have been learning to use the camera equipment and brainstorming their ideas. They want to showcase the centre and show all what it stands for in a fun filled short film.
