The resident young people and staff of Ashgrove House, Newtownards have been making a ceramic panel for their garden, bringing a bit of year round colour to this communal space.
The piece is made up of glazed ceramic tiles, made by individuals, illustrating aspects that they feel symbolise ‘home’. Additionally, the work incorporates letters spelling out ‘welcome’. The artwork will be installed in November and has been created under the guidance of Ceramic Artist, Eleanor Wheeler.
