This very bubbly group of ladies of a mature age met every Wednesday up in Coleraine.
The ladies really enjoyed the creative process and found the Trash Fashion project to be very therapeutic as well the social aspect.
As inspiration for their pieces the group looked at the contrast between traditional Indian textiles (bright, patterned silks) with N.I. Every day outer wear (tweeds, linens, earthy colours.) The group created their own textile prints and garments with a twist.
Recycling soft furnishing fabrics and wallpapers and customising jackets and hats.
