Moving on Music’s next set of ‘All About…’ outreach videos are from the excellent, Belfast based flautist, Aisling Agnew.
Aisling Agnew is a Belfast born flautist who regularly performs worldwide at many high-profile concerts and is currently the flautist with Hard Rain Soloist Ensemble. Each of Aisling’s videos focus on how composers have used the flute to depict birdsong, through out all periods music. Aisling looks specifically at how composers have used extended techniques on the flute to mimic birdsong and how nature / poetry has influenced such works.
