Irish Pages Press wins British Book Awards Small Press of the Year 2022 (Island of Ireland)

The Irish Pages Press/Cló An Mhíl Bhuí, has won ‘The British Book Awards Small Press of the Year 2022 (Island of Ireland)’.

This is the first time that a press based in Northern Ireland has first been shortlisted and then won any of the three relevant British Book Awards for publishers, administered by The Bookseller magazine in London: Small Press of the Year, Independent Press of the Year, and Publisher of the Year.

The award acknowledges Irish Pages Ltd’s 2021-2022 book-publishing programme, which complements the publication of it long-standing journal Irish Pages. The Arts Council is a principal funder of Irish Pages Ltd.

Irish Pages Press is now in the running to be crowned Small Press of the Year, to be announced at the The British Book Awards ceremony and dinner in London in May.
