Headliners: Geraldine Dardis O’Kane and Sara-Jane Arbury

Geraldine O’Kane (she/her) is a Northern Irish poet, creative writing facilitator, playwright and mental health advocate living in Belfast. Her debut full collection Unsafe is available from Salmon Poetry. Geraldine has given a TED Talk for TEDx Belfast, and read at First Fortnight (in association with O’Bheal), Galway’s Over The Edge, and Poems Upstairs in association with Poetry Ireland. She was recipient of the Artist Career Enhancement Scheme ‘15/’16 from Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and is currently supported by Arts Council NI.

Sara-Jane Arbury is a writer, performer and workshop leader. An active advocate of creative writing and live literature, she collaborates with many organisations including Oxford University Press, National Literacy Trust and Ledbury Poetry Festival. She undertakes writing commissions, residencies and ad-verse ventures, the more unusual the better. In 2021, Sara-Jane was longlisted for The Plough International Poetry Prize, and was a runner up in the 2021 Mslexia Poetry Competition. She co-runs Red Earth Arts, a Herefordshire community arts organisation, and she’s Writer-in-Residence for site-inspired Herefordshire theatre company Feral Productions.
