The new Champion Things album “Spun from a Suffragette’s Ribbons” is available now to listen to on Spotify and other streaming sites.
The album, from the Belfast based group, features spoken word narratives from Gordon Hewitt and music created by Vic Bronzini Fulton. The narratives, mainly stories about the lives of women, are drawn from Bloody Brilliant Women by Cathy Newman, Myths of Male Dominance by Eleanor Burke Leacock and Paid For by Rachel Moran amongst many other sources.
This album is the fifth album by Champion Things and follows on from last year’s “Deep within the Slum Kitchen”
