Artist Therese Gorman is currently facilitating the Falls Ladies group who have been busy, knitting tops for “fish and chip babies in Africa” (Fish and Chip babies describes a situation where babies are sent home wrapped in newspaper because the families are so poor they do not have clothes for the baby), from scraps of wool.
