Artist/Facilitator Pauline Harte really enjoyed working with this fantastic group. The group applied trash and recycling to every idea they had.
Making doorstep owls from material and felt and old clothes, even using old summer duvets to stuff them. Then using sand from a local beach to weigh them down.
Then they brought new life to old t-shirts by adding iron on transfers and fabric painting.
The group also created Mosaics using old Scrabble pieces and fabric.
A lot of time was taken in the designing, sewing and sticking, not to mention a great sense of achievement and the pride at the end of the project.
