This project gave an opportunity for a little “memory making” or we called it “making keep-sakes”. Their key worker, Lorraine McAlister who established Hope House, passed away earlier in 2022. She is greatly missed by both adults and young people who live around Hope House.
A group of this community created this collage of papier mache shapes, which reminded them of Lorraine. Some wrote little messages that were included and hidden in the layers of paper and paint. She had also spent quite a bit of time in India, so they used bright colours and lots of sparkle to include this theme.
