Brian Kielt joins VAI as Advocacy and Advice for Northern Ireland

Visual Arts Ireland is delighted to welcome Brian Kielt to the Visual Artists Ireland team. Brian joins us in the new role of Advocacy and Advice for Northern Ireland, being the first point of contact for visual artists in Northern Ireland. Brian will be arranging NI Help Desk Sessions for anyone who wants advice on their professional career as well as playing an active role to help VAI deliver our programme of events, including Lifelong Learning webinars and café’s aimed at giving artist’s the tools to further their professional lives.

Brian is a visual artist based in Mid Ulster and has over ten years’ experience in the arts sector in Northern Ireland. As a painter, Brian has exhibited in multiple group and solo shows. As a co-founder of LOFT studios which ran in Belfast city centre for over five years, Brian co-managed the space and helped to organise and run events alongside other arts organisations in the city.
