The Focus Club in Belfast hosted a Side By Side project during the last year as part of CAP’s Community Engagement Project (CEP). They were led through their creative process by artist/facilitator, Matt Farris. The group decided to make a film to present the range of personalities in their group and how well they all work together. They designed the storyline, developed the content, took part in interviews, made appearances, and Matt skill-fully created the movie itself.
They group had their premier in their centre last week and were delighted to see themselves on screen. One of their members, Robert, finished the occasion by leading everyone in a song.
