Breathe: Interactive Artmaking and Peacebuilding workshop on Nov 1

On 1st November, Community Arts Partnership (CAP) artist/facilitators Carole Kane and Charmaine McMeekin led a fascinating Expressive arts workshop as part of the Belfast International Arts Festival, with attendees and participants from Forthspring Inter-community Group. .The EXA workshop was delivered in support of peacebuilding and conflict transformation through creativity, discovery and playfulness and builds on a project that is currently taking place, called Breathe.

Participants in the room were honoured to have been joined by international peacebuilder Professor John Paul Lederach who read and discussed aspects of his writing in relation to the on-going project. We were also joined on Zoom by others from across Europe and North America.

This event was supported by Community Relations Council small grants fund. The workshops are continuing and are supported by Belfast City Council. Arts Council of Northern Ireland is also an appreciated funder to CAP
