The Focus Club in West Belfast recently took part in CAP’s Side by Side project. This was facilitated by Carole Kane.
The group worked on the theme of Sunflowers, inspired by paintings by Vincent Van Gogh and the song “Sunflower” by Neil Diamond. They made shadow puppets, wrote their own story, painted a backdrop and, on the final day, took turns at being “stagehands” and “performers” to complete their final dance.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and made beautiful art in the process.
