ASCERT Recovery choir – every Thursday

The Recovery choir for individuals who either work with people, support people or who are on the journey of recovery themselves.

It is a great way to make new connections and just have a bit of fun while singing our hearts out. There are numerous pieces of research telling us that singing has many benefits, including improved mood, stress relief, social connection and building confidence. It is also known to help with physical pain through the releasing of endorphins and increase memory.

The Recovery Choir meet every Thursday evening at the Westcourt Centre, Barrack street, Belfast at 6.45pm for a quick cup of tea and catch up then our musical director, Keith takes us through our pieces from 7pm to 8pm.
