Has your creative group made good use of social media?
Did it boost attendance at one of your events, help you recruit new members, allow you to share valuable information, or anything else that helped your creative group to thrive? Or maybe you use it imaginatively to share your creative output?
We’re looking for great examples of the impactful ways community-based creative groups make use of social media. We’ll use them to help shape an upcoming free resource about social media, that we’ll share on our website – and we’ll give a £250 micro-grant to our favourite example.
Here’s the kind of thing we’d love to hear about:
- Which social media platforms you use and why?
- What kind of text/photographs/videos work well in engaging people?
- How has social media helped your creative group achieve its aims?
- Stories about particular projects which wouldn’t have worked as well without social media
- . . . or anything else about your social media use that you’re particularly proud of!
To let us know how your group engaged successfully with social media, please send us up to 400 words describing what you did, plus a screenshot and any relevant photos/videos. to info@creative-lives.org by 30 June 2025.
