‘Elegiac Residue II’ – SEVEN International (Exhibition) – 3 to 25 July

SEVEN International is a dynamic collective of artists who formed a bond during their MFA studies at Central Saint Martins. Representing diverse backgrounds and disciplines, the group is a powerhouse in painting, printmaking, film, documentary, and photography, showcasing a rich tapestry of multimedia.

As their name suggests, SEVEN International members hail from various corners of the globe, including Australia, Italy, Romania (…) …reflecting a truly global perspective in their artistic practices. This larger more significant installation of the touring exhibition for Down Arts Centre, marks a significant milestone for the group in Northern Ireland as we once again spotlight the 2 local artists, Karen Daye-Hutchinson and Karl Hagan with Ben Varney, Martina Margaux, Daniel Silas, Holly Elizaveta, and George Dyer, whose contributions span a range of innovative and thought-provoking works. Together, SEVEN International embodies a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and cultural exchange.

Down Arts Centre welcomes this exciting addition to the local contemporary art scene.
